Bachelor's in  Biotechnology is a three or four years undergraduate degree programme offered by many colleges in India. The admission is done on the basis of marks secured in any entrance exam. Following are few entrance exams for Biotechnology courses:

see there is both undergraduate and post graduate courses available in biotechnology streams. you may go for b.sc course in biotechnology or b.tech in biotechnology. bsc course is of 3 years duration, btech course is of 4 years duration. now the admission in bsc course is based on 12th score or the entrance test conducts by the respective college or university. eligibility criteria for b.sc in biotechnology is candidates must have completed 12th course with physics, chemistry , biology/mathematics from a recognized education board.

admission to bachelor of technology course is based on entrance test like jee main or state wise engineering entrance test. the eligibility criteria is candidates must have studied mathematics, physics, chemistry as a mandatory subjects from a recognized education board.
