The eligibility criteria for NEET states that the candidate must have passed their 10+2 level with Physics, Chemistry , Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects. Hence, biotechnology is important for NEET. You need to have either Biology or Biotechnology as your core subject, else you are not eligible for NEET.
