Books for upesmet?

The exam pattern is similar to the other MBA exams like CAT, XAT. The difficulty level for this exam is however lower than exams like CAT/XAT. The sections for the question paper inlcude- Quant, Reasoning, English and GA.

If you are already preparing for CAT/XAT, you don't need a separate plan for Quant, English and reasoning. For GA you may refer to two-three english newspaper like The Hindu, Indian Express, Economic Times on daily basis for three months to update yourself on latest happening. Also, the generral awareness book from Lucent will help your basic level of understanding and competence in different areas of GA.

Further, for quant (if you have not yet started for any other entrance exam), the books of RS Agarwal will be helpful. For English, you can refer to BSC publication books besides your preparation in grammar and Vocab section..Also find a comprehensive article on career360, which will help your insight on prep material area..
