    Hello,
    If you have residential certificate of Maharashtra then definitely your home state will be MAHARASHTRA.You can apply for entrance exam accordingly.

    Thanks for the prompt reply. I don't think I have one. Have ration card tough and passport with permanent address as Pune.How do I obtain a residential Certificate?

    If your family have their own house for 20 years or above or if you completed  your whole schooling from there.These are eligibility criteria to make residential certificate.You may contact pragya kendra for details.

    I read that you require to have Nativity certificate and not a residential certificate. Have any Idea haw to acquire the same?
