Hello Dear Student,
Branch changes are not universally allowed across all IITs. Many top institutes, including IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, IIT Kharagpur, and IIT Hyderabad, have discontinued the branch change option to reduce academic pressure.

However, you can still apply for a branch change at several participating IITs after successfully completing your first year with exceptional grades.
