see jss university or srm university, both of the institute has excellent curriculum and fair number of students faculty ratio, awesome lab works which increase the students interest to learn any particular area of subjects. however none of the institute have excellent placement record for b.sc biotechnology course. the companies which come for campus placement are not related with biotechnology branch. most of the companies are bpo sectors and you have to compete with other branch students. to tell the truth it is difficult to find core biotechnology related field employment just  after completing the bachelors degree in biotechnology.

so whatever institute you may choose you have to make yourself prepare for m.sc entrance test of biotechnology.

Again like I said, the Bio-Tech course requires a lot of practical work and research oriented work by the student. So JSS has those apt facilities for the student to excel and moreover the faculty is really good as compared to SRM. SRM is good too but JSS is better in being more centred towards the subject and more research oriented.
