If you mean “Which are the best colleges for B.Tech CSE in India?”, my shortlist would be:

1. IIT Madras
2. IIT Delhi
3. IIT Bombay
4. IIT Kanpur
5. IIT Kharagpur
6. IIT Hyderabad
7. NIT Trichy
8. IIIT Hyderabad
9. NIT Warangal
10. BITS Pilani

For CSE specifically, I would also strongly consider IIIT Hyderabad because of its strong focus on computer science and research. NIRF 2025 ranks IIT Madras #1, IIT Delhi #2, IIT Bombay #3, IIT Kanpur #4 and IIT Hyderabad #7 among engineering institutions. NIT Trichy is #9 and NIT Warangal #28.

If you don't want JEE, tell me your 12th percentage, state, budget and whether you want colleges in Hyderabad/Bengaluru/anywhere in India. I can give you the best B.Tech CSE options you can enter without JEE.
