Bundelkhand University (BU), Jhansi was established on August 26, 1975 under the provision of the U.P. Universities Act. The campus spreads over 186 acres of land. The university is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

BU is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

Bundelkhand University admission process for B.Tech.:

• Aspirants have to appear and qualify the AKTU entrance examination.
• Eligible aspirants have to fill an online application form on thewebsite of the university.
• The candidates who have not appeared for AKTU  examination  will have to appear and qualify the  entrance test conducted by the BU.
• The final selection of the candidates will be offered after institute level document verification, seat allotment and fee payment.
