To get into a Chemical Engineering Program your 10th grade percentage is important but it is not the main factor. You have to focus on achieving good results in your class 12th science subjects like Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics and performing well in relevant entrance exams

HERE ARE SOME IMPROTANT POINTS THAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:-

1.Most engineering colleges require around 45% in Science and Mathematics in 10thgrade

2.You mainly need to focus on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in your class 12th - Typically you need a minimum 50-60% in PCM. Some top colleges like IITs may require 75% or higher

So overall your 10th class percentage is starting point you need to focus on 12th grade PCM performance and entrance exams score because they will be crucial for getting into a Chemical Engineering program but if you want to take admission through class 10th percentage then atleast 50% required in Science and Mathematics.
