Hi,

You can appear for NTSE only in the 10th standard. However, it requires one to secure 60% marks in Class IX examination (55% in case of SC, ST and PH category candidates). The exam is held in two stages. Only those qualifying the first stage can appear in the second stage. Those who qualify stage 2 will be eligible for the scholarship (Rs.1250 per month for class XI and XII and Rs.2000 per month for students studying under graduate and above.)

Dear student,

No.Only 10th standard students are eligible to attend NTSE exam.A candidate must secure atleast 75% in class 9.Please check eligibility details.
