No, you have to secure more than 95+ percentile to get good NITs and IITs. If you have secured 97 percentile then you approximate rank will be about, 20156 to 22278. Then you have a chance to get NITs. The NITs you will get in 1st ,2nd round are:
- MNNIT Allahabad
- NIT Goa
- NIT Jamshedpur
- IIIT Bhubaneshwar
- NIT rourkela
- MANIT Bhopal
On securing about 99+ percentile, you rank would be nearly 1000-4000. Then you will surely get an good NIT. But for IITs colleges, you have to qualify the JEE Advanced and also secure a good percentile in it.
