see the eligibility criteria depends on the post or vacancy you may apply for. kindly mention in which of the exam or recruitment test you want to apply. there is seat for pwd candidates for many of the admission or vacancy , but candidates must meet the eligibility criteria to apply for.

thanq for ur response.. I wanna apply for mbbs in afmc.. I'm now in 11 and I lost my eye in childhood.. I heard about the medical test before joining afmc.. so now kindly tell me if I'm eligible Or not

you must have the specified eye conditions which is prescribed by afmc to become eligible for admission. the permitted eye standard is as follows:
There should be no squint or any other morbid condition of the eye and eyelids
Ser No: Better eye Worse Eye
(i) Distant Vision/(Corrected) 6/6 6/18
(ii) Near Vision (Corrected) N5 N8
(iii) Myopia Not more than – 3.5 D in any one meridian including astigmatism
(iv) Hypermetropia Not more than + 3.5 D in any one meridian Including astigmatism
other conditions are as follows:
1. Fundus and Media to be healthy and within normal limits.
2. No undue degenerative signs of vitreous or chorio – retinitis to be present, suggesting progressive myopia.
3. Minimum colour vision standard should be CP- 3(Defective Safe).
4. Should have good binocular vision, fusion faculty and full field of vision in both eyes.
5. There should be no organic disease likely to exacerbate or deteriorate.
6. Candidates who have undergone Lasik surgery will be governed as per provisions of DGAFMS /departmental instructions from time to time. Lasik/PRK for correction of vision is permitted only for candidates of age 20 years and above and even among them a period of 06 months should have elapsed after the procedure.
