Can a OBC candidate can apply for general seat in Aiims enterance exam

See, as per the guidelines everyone is eligible to apply within the general seat or the open seat.

If you have a category certificate and want to avail the benefits of your category, be it OBC, SC or ST, then you can apply for under reservation for getting admission.

Otherwise you have the full liberty to take admission on the general seat or open category seat.

Its just that, the cut off for the open category students is more than the reserved category students, which is less. And furthermore, if you apply under reserved category then you get a chance to get admission in many good colleges for lower cut off than open category students.

At the end it's upto you to decide, which category to choose.
