Can an EE student at NSUT sit in the placements of Tech MNCs like Google, Microsoft or Amazon and get a fancy packages?

Yes generally EEE students can sit for placements for MNCs like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, etc unless the company puts up any strict conditions. So my advice would be to approach the training and placement cell of your college, and enquire about the same. You can also tell them about your interest in joining such companies so that the college will be able to write a letter on behalf of the students to these companies and invite them for placement drive.

Now getting selected for the placement is in your hands. You need to perform well in your interview.

If you are looking for a good college placement, then do well in your academics and have a CV that would stand out from the rest of the others thereby giving the recruiters a strong  reason to select you. For this do as many Internships and certified courses as you can. Also apart from the project works required in your course, do some additional mini projects, as this will not only show them that you are good at your field but will also show them that you have sincere interest and dedication too. Also before your interview ensure that you have revised all the topics and you are well aware of your project. And finally give the interview with full confidence.
