Can anyone explain what state quota is?I am from karnataka and my rank is around 14.2k

if the college in which you have to take admission is also in the same state from which you belong and have a domicile, then that case you are applicable for home state quota.

your rank is good. you can take admission through this rank.

you can get admission in your home state college, according to home state you are eligible to take admission in good branch ofn amrita college.

private universities keeps some seats for state quota and other for merit so state quota means if university is in bangalore then seats will be for bangalore people so this is state quota thank you
