Can anyone help me out by setting a proper schedule so that i can manage boards and CET parallely?
yash,
yes, i can guide you to set up the a proper schedule so that you can manage both boards and CET parallely. first of all let me tell you that the preparation speed and and schedule will be depend upon the time you have for the preparation of the boards and the entrance examination.
a year before the boards and the entrance exam :-
- take out the syllabus from internet for the boards exam and entrance examination note down it. mark all the similar topics from syllabus of boards and the entrance exam. prepare them thoroughly and take out a short note points which will help you in future for the quick practice.
- then focus on the interrelated in both the syllabus prepare them and take out notes.
- finally focus on completely different topic comes only in entrance exam and prepare them (before reaching this point you have to complete almost 80% of your syllabus for boards then go for further preparations.)
- SCHEDULE :- there are 7 days in a week so you can prepare for the subjects which important according to the both exams. there are 3 subjects which are most important physics, chemistry, Math if you're preparing for engineering entrance and physics, chemistry , biology if you're preparing for medical entrance. so there are two days per subject and one day remained you can use it as preparation day for the remaining subjects which are related to board only (Languages, social studies, etc.)
1. 2 days for physics (choose a topic prepare it thoroughly make the short notes to remember)
2. 2 days for chemistry (choose a topic prepare it thoroughly make the short notes to remember)
3. 2 days for mathematics/ biology (choose a topic prepare it thoroughly make the short notes to remember)
you can change the sequence of the subjects according to you but within two days you have to complete one topic at least.
2 months before the boards exam :-
- as you know the boards exam strikes before the entrance exam so you have to be prepared for it, so syllabus of board and entrance exam should be at the level of completion of preparation. then you have to stop preparation for the CET exam for 2 months and have to focus on the boards exam and the schedule for this preparation will be one subject(prepare at least one chapter thoroughly) per day
- note down all the important formulas and read it regularly and make short notes to remember things.
after board exam few days or week before entrance exam :-
- after the board exam there is very short time is left for the preparations so you have to study from the created short notes practice papers daily.
- try to solve the different question asked in the examination and try to practice more and more
- schedule :-
1. 6 to 8 hours of practice of questions and topic revise.
2. try to seat and solve for 3 hour a question paper from past year.
3. difficulty resolving session ( through guidance book or by video lectures ).
4. at the end of the day review all the important formulas.
(NOTE:- you have to practice daily. )
Hope this schedule will help you
Good Luck
