Can anyone provide me best revision plan for IIT in 2 months so that I can devote my time for boards equally to
The most important part about both JEE Main & JEE Advanced is not how much syllabus you have covered, instead how well you have mastered the topics in all three subjects Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
Your revision plan has to be very strong. The best way of revising now is by taking several tests. This helps you in two ways. Firstly you are doing a new question (since doing questions which you have already done before, won’t help much unless they have some specific importance). Secondly you are doing it under a time limit. This is very important. Your endeavor is not just to solve the question but also to score your maximum possible marks in that test. So when you do questions under a time limit you realize your speed, accuracy, ability to think, level of stress within set time and ability to let go of questions that may take lot of time to solve (but would eventually get solved) and do more of those that may get done faster.
All The Very Best and Good Luck :)
To prepare for IIT JEE Main and JEE Advanced and CBSE Board Exams simultaneously is a slightly tough for the candidates and require a proper balance.
Follow the tips and plan your preparations accordingly.
1. Have a plan
Before you start, it is important to have a goal and plan in mind. To crack tough competitive exams like JEE Main and Advanced, a strategy can often turn out the deciding factor between success and failure. Keep in mind the following points to formulate an effective plan.
2. Study the Syllabus completely.
Don't leave any topic untouched. Try to cover all the topics for both JEE and Board Exams.
3. Revise Syllabus of Both- 11th and 12th class. The 11th class syllabus has 40% weightage in the JEE Exam. So it is equally important.
4. Focus on the key concepts which will help you ace the board exam as well as the IIT-JEE exam. Along with that, build your aptitude for MCQ type tests with more difficult questions.
5. Prepare for both the exams simultaneously. Do not neglect either of them.
6. Time management is the key to success
7. Take coaching classes if required. Most of the topics for both the exams are covered in these classes.
Hello Varun,
One difference between JEE Main and JEE Advanced is that while the former tests your speed and accuracy, the latter is more concept-based and tests your analytical ability.
Therefore when you are preparing for JEE Advanced, you need to ensure that you have a very good grasp of all the concepts and their usage. In the final two months of your preparation, ensure that you do quick revision of all key points. Also, make it a point to solve as many sample papers and questions papers you can, as that way you will be able to test how much you have managed to retain and whether you are able to use the learning for solving problems.
Finally, take mock tests to get in exam mode.
