If it is JEE preparations we are talking about, then there are a lot of options out there apart from coaching centre notes.
It would he advisable to have a strong foundation in the basic concepts of physics,chemistry and mathematics from NCERT textbook. This should be enough to get you a decent grade in JEE.
If you're looking for better grades and looking forward to crack JEE Advanced, then I'd recommend going through prep books.
Like HC VERMA for physics and RD Sharma for mathematics.
