can anyone tell me how can i get AME licence after taking addmission through AMECET exam, i want to know all steps as per dgca for getting Licence , becoz in AME field licence is mandatory , so plz clear my doubts with all details

Here are the steps to get an AME License :
There are streams in which a candidate can take AME License i n :
A : This license allows maintaining the aircrafts within the limit. The license holder is known as a technician.
B1 : B1 license is the mechanical stream which deals with engines, wings and many other components.
B2 : B2 is the license is avionics stream which is related to electronic components in the aircraft

To get AME license, the first candidate should qualify the AME Entrance Exam and then take admission in AME Institute.

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course is of duration of 4 years. In these 4 years, 2 years will be an academic program and other 2 years will be live training. There will be some modules conducted by DGCA.

After clearing the modules and 2 years practical training the license is issued to the candidate by DGCA Govt of India.
