Hi, I've been through this question of yours when I was in class 9 and what from my personal experience I can tell you is that you keep on solving PREVIOUS YEAR NTSE PAPERS (https://www.studytadka.com/ntse-questions/) . The thing is that they don't have a lot to cover in SST and it has almost reached the saturation point here. So especially for NTSE you should prefer the online practice of questions as there are endless numbers of questions. One thing more, if possible, refer to state board books of your respective state. According to me the important topics should be studied first.Revision for every subject is must, so please make time for it.Study approach should be according to the syllabus and not what all given in the book.You should never hesitate to ask your friends or teachers if you are not able to understand some specific topic or concept.Try to get involve in discussion regarding the subject with your friends and you should help others to make their concepts clear. This also helps you to make your concepts strong.

A schedule/time table is the most important pre-requisite for the preparation for the exam. Chalk out a full schedule of the syllabus, segregate the units and mark all the important topics which need to be covered well in time. Sample papers and take mock tests regularly to know the overall pattern of the test.Since most of the syllabus is from 9th and 10th standard, you should go through the NCERT books and revise all the topics thoroughly.
