Hello Vikram!
Bachelor of Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc.) and A.H. is a five year undergraduate coures. It prepares a student for assissting veterinarians in their laboratory studies, medical emergencies for animals and extended critical care research.
- If the candidate wishes to apply for Bachelor's in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc & AH) course then he/she must have passed the class 12 examination with science background. He/she should have secured a minimum of 55% in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- Admission to veterinary colleges is generally based on the class 12 results. Apart from this, certain universities conduct entrance examination for the above mentioned course. Veterinary Council of India is in charge of conducting an 'All India Common Entrance examination' (AICEE). This is an all India level test taken by students for admission to undergraduate course like Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) & Animal Husbandry (AH). Students can give this exam in the month of May each year.

Hey!!
To apply for BVSC course, candidate should have 50% aggregate marks in the subjects, English, physics, Chemistry and biology. So yes, you can apply for the course even if you have biology as your additional subject. In that case, Maths will be considered as the other subject. Just like to the candidates who have PCMB , apply for both JEE and NEET examination.
Hope it helps,
For any query, please comment.
Best wishes.

Please tell if bachelor's degree is helpful or diploma in veterinary
Hey!! Thanks for comimg back to us. Here, you need to understand that both Bachelor's degree and diploma are good in their own way. To find out which one is good for you , you have to calculate according to your own goals and ambitions.
Earning an diploma in veterinary science involves the study if how to treat the disease or detect the injuries and other health complications suffered by other non-human animals. Just as same those pursue human medicine. It's kind of foundation in veterinary science.
Where as students who earn bachelor's degree in veterinary science are prepared to become veterinary technologists and help veterinarians by providing tests to diagnose illness. After earning an bachelor's degree , student may take the Veterinary Technician National Exam conducted by the veterinary states boards.
So I can put the points in front of. Choice is yours. Both are good in their way. But you need to look out best according to your needs .
Hope it helps,.
Good luck

Can we do Bvsc for 3 years or it is mandatory to include AH in it .is there more benefit of Bvsc plus AH ? Please tell and thanks for your previous and.
Hey!!
BVSC course is of 3 years duration and maximum 5 years depending on the university you are applying. No, there is no such rules and it's not mandatory to include animal husbandary (AH) in the BVSC course. Though, having an extra knowledge is always good to have edge over others and good packages. AH includes the study which will relate and help also in BVSC . Therefore, yes there is benefits of bvsc plus AH .
