Can I add my IP marks instead of chemistry marks so that I can be eligible for nit because then my %.
If you were school registered you for first six maths and IP, you are eligible. If you had physics, maths, chemistry, and IP, but did bad in chemistry. you can still count IP if Jossa permits to meet eligibility.
Hello,
It's not about including or excluding subjects.
When you register or fill u the form for JEE, they specifically ask you to fill your marks for Maths , Chemistry and Physics the only main subject group (PCM).
And hence you cannot add any other subjects marks to increase your percentage.
THANK YOU !!
No you cannot replace chemistry marks with IP marks to become eligible for NIT admission National Institutes of Technology require you to pass physics chemistry and mathematics as compulsory subjects in class twelfth along with the minimum qualifying percentage set by the authorities Even if your marks in IP are higher they cannot be counted instead of chemistry for eligibility purposes So to get admission in NIT you must meet the required percentage in physics chemistry and mathematics as a group
hi,
No, you cannot replace your Chemistry marks with IP (Informatics Practices) marks for NIT eligibility. For NIT admission through JEE Main, your eligibility is based on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics marks specifically. IP is considered an additional subject and not a core subject for eligibility. Even if your percentage improves by adding IP marks, NITs will only consider your PCM subjects for the required minimum eligibility.
