Hello,
First of all let me tell you, it's not fake at all. NIOS (National Institute of Open schooling ) is the board of education under the union government of India. It was established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India in 1989 to provide the education of equal level to the all segments of the society. The level of the education is similar to the level of CBSE and CISCE.
if you have completed your 12th with NIOS then you can apply abroad for the further studies. NIOS certificate is accepted by many foreign universities for providing admission in their universities.
