Can i apply the ews certificate at JOSSA counseling, if i didn't applied for JEE Advance ?

If I apply to get EWS certificate now & tick under EWS(by mentionong application no. of getting EWS) in JEE mains form & if fail to to get EWS certificate at the time of JOSSA Or JEE advance, then can I automatically shift to General category?

Hello,
If you have mentioned your category as EWS in application form filling then only you can use its certificate at the time of JOSAA counselling, otherwise you can't do so.
