Can I avail scholarship both on the basis of LPUNEST and class 12th %..

As per the rule , you can avail scholarship based either on previous qualification or your performance in LPUNEST exam. Phase 2 scholarship will start from today. i.e. 1st June and scholarship slabs will be reduced for all Type 2 programmes.

Well, As per my knowledge the scholarship is offered in all the programmes in order to provide financial benefit to bright and deserving students. During the last year, LPU has granted scholarships worth INR 100+ crores to students (maximum up-to 4.9 lacs per student) to pursue their education. Following are few criteria for grant of scholarship.

1. Based on LPUNEST
2. Based on percentage (After 10th/ 12th/ Graduation/ Lateral Entry)
3. Based on qualification previous to eligibility qualification
4. Based on National Level Test (JEE (Mains/ NEET/ NATA/ CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ MAT/ NMAT/ GATE/ GPAT/ CLAT/ UCEED/ SPM/ JRF/ NET (LS))
5. Basis on Sports/ Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Services and Bravery Awards
6. Scholarship to Defence, CAPF personnel and their dependents
7. Special Scholarship to Toppers of Education Boards
8. Scholarship to Orphan Applicants/ Person with Certain Disability
9. COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship(Introduced in 2020 admission session) for wards of Doctors, Nurses, Media personnel, Police personnel, Bank employees, and many more.

Note-Applicants can avail single scholarship which one is best and highest either on basis of 10th/12th highest percentage or on basis of lpunest score or if applicant fall in any other better category of scholarship.

Example If you got 80% in 12th but on lpunest basis you scored very well and getting highest bracket scholarship then among both best performance evaluated which in your case will be of lpunest.

Hi Vidhi.I just want to make you clear that a candidate will get one best scholarship in case he is eligible for more than one scholarship.

Let me give you an example. Assume you are eligible for 35% scholarship on the basis of marks in 12th and you are eligible for 20% scholarship on the basis of marks in LPUNEST. Then you will get one best scholarship (highest scholarship) i.e. 35% and not 55%.

FYI, Scholarship is provided on both the basis that you are mentioning i.e. depending upon last qualification or through LPUNEST score. Out of both one highest score will be considered.

Moreover scholarship is available under various categories like defence background etc.

Congrats for your result. As per the scholarship scheme if you get more scholarship in LPUNEST then only that will be considered.

I.e. you'll be getting 30% scholarship and not 30+20%. The scholarship applies only upon the tution fee. Rest of the fee is as it is.
