Can I become an IAS after BCA ?

Successful completion of a bachelor's degree in any specialisation is the minimum requirement for appearing in UPSC examination. On the basis of candidates' performance in the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) Prelims examination, they are selected for appearing in UPSC Main examination. On the basis of final interview, candidates are selected for the IAS role.

General candidates can make 6 attempts in the UPSC examination till the age of 32.

the first criteria to fill UPSC form is graduation. You need a full time graduation degree from a known university with atleast 60% aggregate to appear for UPSC Exams.

So, it’s pretty clear that anyone with a graduation degree can take IAS/IPS(UPSC Examination).

UPSC Examination requires intense amount of hardwork, immense flow of knowledge and a zeal and enthusiasm to crack UPSC in one go. Start preparing at the earliest and prepare well.

IAS/IPS is not the end of the world. There are various other options after BCA.
