can i change my category from general to nri sponsored after proclaimation of the results???

Hi Aspirant,

No exam will allow changing the category after the declaration of the result as in most of the exams the category plays a very important role in declaring the cutoff. No prestigious examination will allow you to change the category after the results are declared. Moreover, if you change it to some other category in the counseling procedure then there is a chance that your result might be declared invalid.

So I suggest you carry on with the General category and if you think that you belong to some other reserved category and also your result this year is not good enough then you could try again and give the exam next year.
