I don't know about which examination you are talking about, but in general, you can't do so because all the updates and the account information is registered on the basis of your contact number.
Although if you have lost your number or any other problem then you can always consider your email ID for references and updates from the counselling.
If you wish you can also ask the helpdesk of the counselling organizers.
