Mechanical engineering is one of the oldest branches in the world of Engineering. This is a core branch and will never go out of trend.
There are lots of opportunities for mechanical engineers :
- Opportunities for higher education abroad and in India (GATE).
- Loads of opportunities in PSUs like BHEL,BPCL,etc
End of the day the most important thing is whether you are interested or not in this branch
