In general admission in MBA is 2 step process:-

*First you have to qualify entrance like  CAT/MAT /XAT etc and then on the basis of your score in the entrance exam ,your academic profile and work experience etc you are shortlisted for the second step

*After getting shortlisted, in the 2nd stage,one has to generally go through at least one of WAT/GD/PI , and then he/she is finally selected for admission on the basis of performance in these rounds  , percentile score in CAT, academic profile and work experience etc. The admission process varies from one B school to other.
