Can i do Computer Science And Engineering Course(3 years) after 12th??? I'm from science stream. But my board's result are not good!

Iam assuming that you are talking about your class 10 boards results since the class 12 board exam results have not yet been declared for any board . Now most colleges in India have a minimum eligibility criteria of obtaining at least 75% marks in the science subjects and maths. Now for getting admission in computer science and engineering course , it is a 4 year full time course since the 3 year course is a diploma course for class 10 pass out students. Now since you have already cleared your class 10 , you have to get into the 4 year engineering program in computer science. Now coming to your admission in engineering colleges , please keep note of the following points.

• You should appear for JEE Mains to get chances for admission in NITs and other govt. institutions offering CSE.
• You must also give your state engineering entrance exam to get admission in state engineering colleges.
• Prepare your basic concepts well and start solving previous years question papers to crack these exams.
• You can refer HC Verma books for Physics and books of Arihant Publications for Chemistry and Maths. You must also have your NCERT books for quick revision.
• Prepare your own notes and take care about your problem solving speeds and accuracy.
• Analyse your test perfomance by giving several mock tests before the real exam.
• You can also appear for the entrance exams of many top private colleges as well offering CSE program in BTech. Some top private colleges you can consider are BITS Pilani , SRM , VIT , KIIT , Manipal .

CSE engineering is one of the most sought after branches in engineering. By becoming a CSE engineer , you can get job in many tech companies like Google , Microsoft , Amazon etc and they offer extremely handsome pay packages to its employees . There is a very bright future for Computer engineering graduates as the world is rapidly becoming computerised and so the demand of CSE engineers is rising. First of all if you are talking of a three year course,then it is a diploma course basically known as Polytechnic.It is mainly for the students who have passed 10th exams, because diploma and Higher Secondary has same preference.You can also do Computer Science and Engineering diploma after 12th Science.And you cay have good future in this.

For a Btech degree in computer science and engineering it takes 4 years. Of course you can try for this course after science stream in 12th. Try to score great marks in the entrance examinations for engineering to get admission in merit seat. You can also try for management seat but that's not advisable as it costs a lot according to different colleges.
