yes you can as eligiblity of diploma in mining engineering is completed 10th or 12th from recognized university.

You should do btech in mining engineering at any cost. After btech you can start career at any organization with good position.

If you are interested in teaching ..you have to study more & more till PhD in mining engineering.

Another option after graduation you can prepare for GATE exam . if you crack it with good rank you can be selected for PSU job like SAIL,NALCO etc.

In India for a mining engineer have to go through two important exam i,e 2nd class & 1st class manager competency exam conducted by DGMS.
