Hope you are doing great. 78 percentile is not considered to be a good score in jee mains . Your predicted rank with this percentile is 2,25,060-2,53,000 and with this rank chances to grab a seat in some government college is nearly negligible and especially when you belong to general category . But yes you can definitely apply for private colleges .
