Can I get a government medical seat in West bengal with a marks of 500 state rank 2481 category obc b in 2nd or 3rd counseling?

Dear Santanu, to be honest, though 500 is a decent score with cut iffs going way higher this year, you might not get a seat in a Government Medical College. It had been speculated that the cut offs for Government Medical Colleges will go higher by 25 marks. But then it even surpassed 25 marks. And so you might not get a Government Medical College. But you might get a seat in a Private Medical College.

With 500 marks, you may get a seat , may be in mop up round but chances are low considering this year's high cut off.
Last year lowest marks that fetched a seat under state quota for obc b category was 474 marks and it was for Maldah Medical College, Maldah.
