Yes you can definitely give the TNEA exam even do you are not from Tamilnadu as a separate exam is conducted for the students who are not from the state. the commencement of the registration forms for the students from not in Tamilnadu will begin in July 2019. These are the two criteria that a candidate must fulfill for giving the exam :
- Contenders must be an Indian citizen but not a resident of Tamil Nadu. Candidates will have got to produce a certificate of Permanent residence in the set format in English only when completing the application form.
- Contenders must have excelled HSC or its corresponding with a least of 50% for General Category and 40% for SC/ST contenders in Mathematics, Physics and chemistry as aggregate.
