As per your Gen EWS rank your chances of getting a nit college are slightly higher. I suggest you to go for home state quota counselling most probably you will get a seat through it else don't worry wait until the last round of counselling you will surely get it.

This is the first time ever the ews category has been introduced in the admission process into nits so there is not much known about it to anyone. So I suggest you to fill out your choices according your interests and then wait for the results of the first round to be out, then you will have a vague idea about the process and you can go from there.
