The Joint Seat Allocation Authority also known as JoSAA, is an agency established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development to manage and regulate the admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs, CFTIs and few other colleges. It conducts the counselling for above mentioned colleges in seven rounds usually.

The seat in various government colleges is allocated to candidates based on their JEE Advanced rank for IITs, JEE Main rank for NITs and IIITs. Yes, you will have the chance to get Computer science engineering (CSE) in colleges provided your rank should be sufficient to get that colleges. You need to have a sufficiently high rank to get CSE in top NITs or IITs or IIITs.
