Can I get direct admission in Bhms

Admission to BHMS is mostly determined by the results of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET). To be admitted to an undergraduate medical program in India, candidates who want to follow a BHMS program must have taken and passed the NEET exam.

You cannot get direct admission in BHMS without NEET — it is mandatory for all government and private colleges as per AYUSH guidelines.
With a low NEET score:
If you are NEET-qualified (105+ for SC/ST/OBC or 150+ for General), you can still get admission in private BHMS colleges through management quota.
Many colleges in states like Karnataka, UP, Maharashtra, and MP accept students under this quota.
Admission is done through state AYUSH counselling or by directly approaching private colleges after the counselling rounds.
If you didn’t qualify NEET:
You can’t get admission, not even under management or NRI quota.
