Hello,
JD Lee is considered one of the best books for JEE Main. But that being said, the book treats most of the topics in great detail, which can be a double edged sword. For example, you might end up spending too much time solving trivial problems, which is not ideal if time is at a premium. Also, it is not enough to read a good book, but how smartly and ably you make the most of it.
As for your question on whether you might be able to get maximum marks just by solving JD Lee, it is difficult to answer. It is because the exam conducting body may ask a question which is outside of the realm of the book. But yes, if you master this book, you can be confident of doing well in the subject.
Regards.
