Yes you might get admission in hbtu. The closing rank for good NITs is 50,000 . So an expected opening rank could be 60 or 70 thousand. Hbtu is considered to be better than new nit's so all those UP students who couldn't get admission in any of the IITs , top NIT and IIIT.
