Can I get job after doing diploma in animation after 10th ?
Dear Vaibhav,
There are institutions that offer Certificate courses that last 3 months or less in Animation. However, the disadvantage is that they all offer only beginner's level courses that may give you basic skills, but may not get you a job. Ideally you should do a diploma after completing your 12th. In that case, you can go for courses at renowned institutions like MAAC, Arena Multimedia and Frameboxx etc.
These are high-end animation focused courses of 24 months and above. They train you in all aspects of animation and filmmaking, from pre-production to post production. There are also courses that last from 7 to 15 months.
Please bear in mind that once you chose a career and stick to it, you will put in 20 to 30 years in that. For a comfortable life, you need a job that pay well. And for that you need higher qualifications as well. So think through this. It is not a question of a career or a job. It is a question of your life. Your career will decide what sort of a life you will be able to lead. So think in terms of long-term benefits and complete at least 12th and then go for a diploma.
If you are in a position to study, you can also think of doing a diploma along with a BA or BSc and by the time you complete it, you will have an industry-backed diploma which will set you on a well-paid career path. Best of luck with your career choices!!!
