I will give jee main 1st time in 2018.
JEE Syllabus is based on NCERT books CBSE pattern. It is different from your state board.
In 2018, there will be only one entrance exam to take admission in all engineering colleges includind state and private colleges except IITs.
You should prepare according to CBSE syllabus to clear your exam.
