can I get mechanical branch in any nit's with 92 percentile?

Dear Aspirant,
You have not mentioned your category however, with your percentile your rank will be around 1 lakh and at such a higher rank, if you are from the unreserved( General ) category then you can not get into NITs. For OBC you can expect some lower NITs, (HOME STATE).
And for SC/ST you can expect NITs with branches like mech, electrical.
