Yes after 12th board you can drop a year and prepare for JEE main exam. You will be eligible to give JEE main and Advanced with out any problem. Candidates should have passed class 12 or qualifying the exam in 2010 or 2021 are eligible to give JEE main.. Students can participate in the JEE Main for 3 consecutive.
