Hello there,
You haven't mentioned your home state, and the branch you want to choose. For this percentile, your All India Rank will be around 28000 to 34000 approximately, and your category rank will be around 6800 to 8500 approximately. Analysing the previous year data, you have fair chances of getting into NITs. You can easily get a seat in the lower NITs, and you can also try for NIT Durgapur, NIT Puducherry, etc.
You can check the cut-off ranks of all the NITs from the link given below:

Also note that the cut-off rank changes every year depending on the difficulty of the paper, and the number of candidates appearing for it.
You can use our college predictor to predict the best college for you:

98.8867 percentile in Jee Mains means your rank would be around 9600 to 10500 in CRL. However results are out so you know your rank. You know the cutoffs change every year so it is quite unpredictable. Now going by last year's cutoffs, you have fair chances of getting a seat in any of the NITs as NITs seats almost get filled within 30000 to 40000 rank. Getting computer science in top NITs such as NIT Trichy, Rourkela, Warangal, Surathkal, Nagpur may be difficult as these seats get filled within 8000 to 10000 rank. But you can expect Computer Science in NIT Patna, Raipur, Pondicherry, North East NITs, NIT Sikkin, Srinagar etc. But if you look for Top NITs, you can expect other branches such as Civil, Electrical, Electronic ans Communications etc. However you haven't mentioned your home state quota, as the cutoffs are less in respective home states so you can apply for that. You can check the cutoffs here

But keep in mind these are based on previous year data and this year cutoffs may change. So I would suggest you to use Jee Main College Predictor tool to know where you have good chances
