Can I get seat in nit college with obc rank 60000

Looking at your rank(i.e 60,000) and at your category(i.e obc) , hence there are chances of getting a suitable branch in the north-eastern nits( like not silchar, sikkim, meghalaya, etc) as well as in nit pondicherry in the southern part of India .

There is almost nill chance for you to get into a NIT with a rank of 60,000(Try for NIT Manipur).You can try for IIIT's ... that too I don't think you can get into the college you expected or into a specified branch. Waiting till the last round of counselling may help in few cases.. so try your luck..but don't assume luck to be on your side, keep trying for other deemed universities or other IIIT'S in which you have high chances of getting in.

You have chances to get NIT Manipur based on your rank. You can also get good private college in other states like: Haryana, UP, West Bengal, Punjab, Rajasthan, Maharashtra. Most of the states have reservation for other state students in private colleges based on JEE Main score/rank. You need to apply separately for them.
