If you need IITs then you will have to clear JEE Advanced. For NITs and many state colleges you JEE Main score is accepted but just clearing mains mostly will not give you top colleges. Everything depends on the rank you get and which category. So if you want good college you should aim to get a good rank. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon start the JEE Main 2022 registration process. The JEE Main 2022 registration date will be announced soon on NTA JEE Main website - jeemain.nta.nic.in and nta.nic.in 2022. Keep an eye on the below link for the latest information.
