can i give compartment exam and improvement exam same year

You cannot appear for both the compartment exam and the improvement exam for the same subject in the same year. If you have a compartment (failed) in a subject, you must clear the compartment exam first. Only students who have passed a subject are eligible to take the improvement exam for that subject in the same year
