Yes you can give JEE Mains
While pursuing B.Sc infact many students do that
So, if you don't get what you want
Your year won't get wasted
This is a good idea & I hope you succeed
Also, if your 3 times JEE eligibility is still there you can give
There's a criteria to give JEE check those out if you fall in those category you are eligible to give JEE
One can give JEE Mains entrance examination for a maximum of 3 consecutive years starting from the year of passing 12th board examination.
So, after passing your 12th board examination you are still eligible for JEE Mains examination within that 3 years, so if even you are in your BSc first year you are still eligible for JEE Mains examination
For example,
Eligibility criteria says that to be eligible for JEE mains 2021 for BE or Btech you just must be either appearing for 12th board exam in 2021 or should have passed it in 2020 or 2019 with Physics, mathematics and anyone of Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology or Technical Vocational Subject.
Thank you
