Yeah you can give your photo in school uniform but it should be recent photo.
Jee Mains Photo Specification:-
Before filling up the online form, scanned image of candidates photo, signature and fathers/ mothers/ guardians signature. All of these documents must be uploaded during the submission of application form. The photo size details are as follows:
Recent passport size color or black/white photo with candidate'sname and date of taking that picture:-

- The picture should have been clicked against a light-colored, preferably white background.
- Applicant should be looking straight at the camera with a relaxed face.
- If the picture is taken using a flash make sure that there's no "red-eye".
- Spectacles are allowed, but make surethat there are no reflections and the eyes can be seen clear.
- Hats, caps and dark glasses are not acceptable, only religious headwear is allowed, but it must not cover your face

Yes u can give your photo in casual uniform , along with your name and the date of photo must be written on that photo.
